Raised in a multicultural environment, Shawn has absorbed different styles from different cultures. His mother would bring home agate pebbles, and Shawn soon became curious about the gemmological world. In 2011, Shawn became a professor’s assistant in a natural history museum studying butterflies. Eventually, Shawn decided to pursue jewellery as a career and double majored in Jewellery, Metals, and Goldsmithing at Georgian College in Barrie, ON.
