Born in Toronto, Leila has spent much of her time creating and designing. Jewellery making began as a portable creative outlet during extended travels in the US. She had her first sales from an exciting stint of street vending in New York City. Her current work reflects this adventurousness. Back in Toronto, Leila is continually challenging herself to explore new techniques with a focus on the integrity of the design and function of each piece. She has taken many art and design courses ranging from fashion design and ceramics to photography and film and is currently in the visual arts program at the University of Toronto. Leila's work is bright, colourful, playful and funny!
