Tony Leung

Tony is a highly skilled and trained jeweller. He began his career in 1997 with a jewellery repairs certificate and continued on to complete George Brown College’s Jewellery Arts Diploma Program in 2000. As a goldsmith, he extended his studies becoming a certified diamond grader and setter. To enhance his design capabilities he has embraced 3-D computer technology to fashion his ideas in a two-dimensional photo-realistic rendering to aid his client’s vision of the design. Tony was awarded third place in the Canadian Jeweller 2003 Buyer’s Choice Design Award. He is a five-time honourable mention winner in 2002 – 2003 of the 3-D Digital Still Image in Caligari’s monthly gallery contest (3D software company monthly contest), and a first-place winner in the jewellery category of the 2nd annual Millennium Artist’s Art Exhibition held in 2002. Tony uses sterling silver, gold, platinum, pearls and gemstones to create his fashionable and modern designs. Using a variety of tools he produces various textures on the metal’s surface fabricating diverse, sophisticated and finely crafted jewellery.
