From the website – “Jaqueline Necklace is made from recycled bicycle inner tubes and aluminum jump rings. The clasp is hand formed out of nickel silver. After a washing process that removes the “inner tube smell”. The tube is hand cut into hundreds of circular forms and then put together with hundreds of jump rings. It is a very involved process of assembly that includes much counting to be sure everything is put together correctly and lays just right. This necklace is light as air and perfect for travel. It is not for those that don’t want to be noticed. Edgy and eco all in one piece.”
